I am the forbidden dancer
The poet who can save this world
With the melody of the ocean.
A dancer of silent whispers
Chanting ballads to the pearl
Scattering sacred poetry
Across the horizon.
A dancer impersonating the dove
Reciting spells from my ancestors
Scented with frangipani blossoms.
A dancer carving the new moon
Blooming hearts of young lovers
Revitalizing the soul of the dance.
A dancer painting the stars
And seasons of yam harvest
In my rhythmic movements.
A dancer of timeless silence
Within the shadows of dawn
Awakening the spirits of my ancestors
The forbidden dance is the ritual of life.
